Where to Shop in the Highlands (With Map)

When I first moved to the Highland neighborhood, I had trouble finding good places to shop. Finding shopping in the suburbs, even other parts of Denver is easy- there always seem to be large signs indicating malls and shops, traffic and parking garages to match. Here, however, there are no retail chains. There are definitely no large malls, strip malls or shopping centers. What you will find in the Highland neighborhood (if you know where to look) are several retail pockets made up of small, local businesses. Check out the map below for my favorite Highland shopping destinations.
